TREE IN THE MEADOW coat-rack and seat
Details
The composition of this coat rack implies a natural scene or a hayfield. The title “a tree in the meadow” resembles to a melody of the sixties written by Billy Reid. Umbrella, newspaper, slippers, etc. can be stored among the slats. The top endings of the slats serve as a bench. The slats are placed densely enough to create a sense of a continuous surface. This resulted in the experience of a strikingly comfortable sitting.
Materials:
20x20 mm thick maple slats and a 18 mm thick birch plywood.
The slats are placed in a 50x50 mm matrix.
