Looking at professional journals a designer occasionally might come to realise: ’Good Heavens! I could have had that idea myself!’. This is exactly what I felt back in university years in the early 2000s when I first saw the SINUS shelfdesigned by Daniel Lakos, which was awarded a Grand Prix at IFDA, an illustrious Japanese furniture design competition.

By now Danie Lakos and Zsanett Benedek have established ’Tervhivatal’, a design studio of their own. Besides architectural works they have been designing staggeringly smart pieces of furniture, which are now available online at DesignShop.eu.
