The elements of this bookcase are similar to the hollow strips of the corrugated cardboard. These sinuous profiles are made from plywood. This way it could span 200 centimetres without any deformation at a regular load. This design was awarded Grand Prix at the Japanese IFDA competition in 1999. “Sinus” is produced in Japan since 2000.
